WHAT WE OFFER
We know that Supervision is a challenge. Our N.EA.T method is a full scope approach to meet those challenges and provide the path for those on supervision and loved ones to thrive in their community. We serve people in entire state of Wisconsin. Our primary regions are 1, 2, 3, 4, 7 and our secondary a regions are 5, 6 & 8. Secondary means we can't be in person same day.

Our N.E.A.T Method
navigate
We provide support by showing people how supervision functions and what their rights are. We walk people through their rules and their meaning. We support them by explaining best practices to ensure they are following the rules, which are often vague, broad sweeping, and high in number.
In the case that a person is having an issue on supervision where they are at risk of returning to confinement or are already in confinement, we support them by explaining the process and actions they can take to preserve or return to freedom. We also assist people with applying for early release from supervision.
Lastly, we are a resource to assist in answering questions to those impacted by supervision whether it is themself, on behalf of a loved one or friend.
Educate
We provide a variety of trainings on supervision. Some include The History of Supervision, What is Electronic Monitoring, & How to be Successful on Supervision.
We collaborate with individuals on supervision to co-develop a comprehensive, individualized thriving plan. This plan includes community building, an emergency plan, goals, mental-health and much more.
Additionally, we educate the community and professionals about supervision through our training offerings and Supervision Simulation. These showcase how they can influence the system to do justice.
advocate
A person on supervision can be put in an opportunity-challenged position. Because of this we advocate with and/or for people. We explain how we can advocate for them, the pros and cons of different options and they chose the path.
At times this involves meeting or contacting their supervision agent, a superior authority in the Department of Community Corrections, assisting them through the revocation process ensuring they understand their rights, how the process works and assisting them in gathering counter evidence to use at their hearing. When in confinement we often are connecting and supporting both the person on supervision and their loved ones.
thrive
We know that our advocacy and personal support needs to be connected to changing the policies that create most of the issues people face. We cultivate those we support to use their voice to challenge policies. We advocate for policy changes on the local, regional and state level to change the punitive policies to ones where ALL people in our community can thrive.
